Train, Play, Smile!
We pride ourselves on offering a full program of activities and creating a supportive, family atmosphere. Our athletes come from all over the U.S. and abroad, for those traveling from New England we offer a staff chaperoned group flight from Boston to Portland, as well as Newark, NJ (number dependant).
A perfect setting.
The camp is based out of the beautiful and quiet Cooper Spur Resort which is located about 15 minutes outside of Government Camp, Oregon. The resort has a traditional camp feel, with 'log cabins' (picture sweet condo-units that are made to look like log cabins), dining hall, tennis courts and playing fields.
Our small, family atmosphere, on-staff nurse and experienced 24 hour supervisors support younger athletes and camp first-timers while small bunk rooms and ski groups put same ages together for a nurturing environment.
Campers can choose their afternoon activities, such as rock climbing, hiking or field games, to design a schedule that suits their needs. At the same time, camp meetings, ski group video analysis and meals together as a group reinforce the team feel.
If you love action, this camp is for you!
Compared with other ski camps, we spend less time hanging out during our 'free time' and focus more on fun, fitness and what we came here to do... train! There is always adult supervision (duh, 'other camps')
Years of experience show in the details.
You'll notice that we have lots of nice, friendly touches and take fun, quality, supervision and safety really seriously. U.S. Elite Camps is the first (and only) camp to receive an ACA (American Camp Assoc.) accreditation for safety and safe practice. ACA is considered the leader in camp safety and we are proud of our achievment.
The smiles never fade!
While camp is in session parents can access our online Camp Diary for a taste of what we are up to and archive photo galleries are available online free of charge long after the goggle tan has faded.
