Copper, Colorado is North America’s premier fall training site and home of the country's best November snow.  The U.S. Ski Team’s ‘A’ Team trains alongside us daily at the 9,000 foot resort.

The Copper Thanksgiving camp will prepare you for the race season with six intense days of training.  The competitive atmosphere, daily timing and video, and private training lanes create the perfect early season training camp.  U.S. Elite athletes also receive the privilege of special ‘line cutting’ passes that allow for more runs, and more time in the gates each day.  This all-inclusive training camp is set up for athletes who want to leave camp fired up for the season & ready to race.

Lodging & Meals

Athletes and coaches stay in the heart of Copper village and enjoy full use of all facilities.  Male and female athletes are housed separately and, as with all U.S. Elite Camps, staff join in all activities, live in and provide round the clock supervision.

We eat out at local restaurants most nights and, as the camp falls during Thanksgiving, there will be a traditional banquet meal for the holiday.  It is usual for many athletes choose to spend Thanksgiving dinner with their families, however, if they are in the area.

As this is a short camp there is no laundry service included.

The Program

The Copper trip places an emphasis on developing the ‘TEAM’ aspects of skiing, self-confidence and life skills, in addition to the daily training.

Off hill Activities Afternoon activities are a mixed program of dryland training and teambuilding: hiking/jogging, pool workouts, Ultimate Frisbee, soccer, yoga, mental preparation for racing and relaxation workshops, daily video analysis and Ski tuning clinics.

Email or call for a CD featuring video of our on-hill drills and more photos from camp!
